What is the function of brake pads?
Motorcycle brake pads or brake pads are one of the components in the motorcycle braking system that serve to press the disc or inner drum wall, so that the friction provided is able to slow down and stop the rotation of the wheels
Our product provider SUBA 3000 is a brake lining glue containing synthetic resin that hardens immutable on heating and is very suitable as a friction layer adhesive. SUBA 3000 shows good heat resistance and can be easily processed due to its low viscosity.
Function:
Brake pads convert the vehicle's kinetic energy into thermal energy through friction. Two brake pads are found on the brake calipers, with their friction surface facing the rotor. When the brakes are applied hydraulically, the caliper clamps or squeezes both bearings together into the rotating rotor to slow down and stop the vehicle. When the brake pads heat up due to contact with the rotor, it transfers a small amount of its friction material to the disc, leaving a dull gray coating on it. Brake pads and discs (both of which now have friction materials), then "stick together", providing friction that stops the vehicle.
