Mira MR 410 A / B is an epoxy gel coating containing two thixotropic components for jig production, founding patterns, female molds, laminating molds and working models for ceramics.
The clutch, laminate or base layer should be applied to the Mira MR 410 A / B gel coat if it has been gelled but is still slightly sticky. At room temperature the gel layer reaches the required condition in about 40 - 45 minutes. The drying time depends on the quantity and temperature of the resin. Final drying can therefore be achieved after several hours or days. This gel coating can be used in the production of jigs, casting patterns and negative molds, laminate molds and work models for the ceramic industry. Apply with a brush or spatula.
The resin and hardener must be thoroughly stirred before use. It is very important that air is not trapped during the mixing stage as this will result in a poor quality final casting due to foam formation. After thorough mixing, the resin hardener mixture should preferably be in a vacuum to remove all air trapped in the mixed resin.
